Catering is one of the most important criteria for customers in the hotel industry. The presentation of the food must be perfect, especially for a high-end establishment.
In order to optimize the management of food display labels, the Director of Food and Beverage at the Marina Mandarin Singapore hotel has implemented an innovative and ingenious solution: the Zenius card printer. It allows the labels for one of their restaurants to be easily updated.
THE SOLUTION: EVOLIS ZENIUS FOR EASY PRINTING OF CUSTOMIZED LABELS
The printer provides great flexibility when it comes to updating the buffet display labels on a daily basis.
A standard model using the hotel’s typography has been configured. Members of staff can then change the names of dishes easily without having to modify other parts of the model.
Labels are printed on black cards and white ribbons, offering food contact compatibility.
The team updates around 25 labels per day in a matter of minutes.

Whether it is the ability to update the tags or clean them easily, the plastic cards printed with the Zenius printer save the teams a considerable amount of time. What is more, the printer provides a very high-quality finish which in turn helps reinforce the hotel’s high-end image.

EDIKIO – THREE NEW PRICE TAG SOLUTIONS
In March 2017, Evolis has launched three new all-in-one solutions for price labeling on plastic cards that meet the diverse needs of small, independent food retailers up to large retail outlets.
All Edikio solutions are comprised of card design software, a card printer, blank plastic cards and a print ribbon, enabling cards to be printed quickly and independently onto a plastic card. Price tags can thus be created at any time, directly at the point of sale, individually or in batches.
